About OIA

Office of International Affairs (OIA)

OIA was founded in 2013 and has been responsible for NFU international Cooperation and international student affairs. Our business includes:
Signing MoU among collaborative universities; Arranging foreign guest reception, exchange professors, and visiting scholars; Handling international student applications, scholarship; Providing student counseling, and so on.

 

There are three divisions:
The Division of International Administration Affairs
The Division of International Academic Affairs
The Division of International Student Affairs

The responsibilities of each division are as follows:
1. Division of International Administration Affairs
To deal with integrated administrative affairs.
To communicate and coordinate with other divisions of the school.
To organize exchange program and scholarship for local students.
To promote foreign student enrolment propaganda and process the applications.

 

2. Division of International Academic Affairs
To sign cooperation contract with international partner schools, assist foreign guests on their visits of NFU, and arrange academic exchange programs and related issues.
To assist foreign scholars on their short-term visits and research at NFU.
To arrange exchange programs of NFU for international students and related propaganda.
To deal with Higher Education Sprout Project including organizing international funding and budgeting

 

3. Division of International Student Affairs
To assist international students on their registration, arrange accommodation, and provide information for new international students.
To assist international students on visa application, residential permit, work permit, health insurance and account-opening of post office.
To hold international student exchange programs and cross-culture activities.
To arrange and issue scholarship of international students.
To provide life adaptation counselling and handle emergencies.
