Check with the Bureau of Plant and Animal Health Inspection and Quarantine (BAPHIQ) to confirm whether an animal or plant product that is not included in the table must be declared and quarantined.

Travelers bringing in plants or plant products who fail to declare as required will be fined between NT$3,000 and NT$15,000. Travelers bringing in animals or animal products who fail to declare as required will be fined between NT$10,000 and NT$1,000,000.
