The Office of International Affairs is hosting the "2023 Celebrate Diwali Festival" on November 22, 2023 (from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM).

The event will take place at NFU Cross-Disciplinary Innovation Makerspace. If you are interested in joining this event, please register through the iAct system.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights or the Indian Festival of Lights, is one of India's most significant festivals celebrated between mid-October and mid-November in the Indian lunar calendar. During Diwali, households across India light candles or oil lamps, symbolizing light, prosperity, and happiness.

On the day of the event,  Indian students will introduce the culture and history of Diwali, perform traditional dances, play games, and offer local Indian cuisine for everyone to enjoy! Please note that the number of slots is limited; register it now through the iAct system!

<In response to environmental concerns, please bring your own containers and utensils on the day of the event.>
