ARC Application

• A foreign national who enters with a residency visa or obtains a residency visa in Taiwan shall apply for an ARC within 15 days or the over-due penalty will be NT$ 2,000-10,000.

• A foreign national shall apply for an ARC extension within 30 days before his/her period of residency expires.

• ARC expire fine:  Under 10 days, fine is 2000NTD

                                      Expire 11 days to 30 days, fine is 4000 NTD

                                      Expire 31 days to 60 days, fine is 6000 NTD

                                      Expire 61 days to 90 days, fine is 8000 NTD

                                      Expire over 91 days, fine is 10,000 NTD (After penalty re-entry within 7 days)

    E-file of headshot photo (details are in the attachment below)
    A proof of residence in Taiwan (rental contract)
  
  - Application for Extension

    E-file of headshot photo (details are in the attachment below)
  
  * You have to pay the registration fee first to apply the student certificate for the new semester. If your ARC is going to be expired, please notice the announcement in the Facebook group about bill-taking for the registration fee or contact the officer of OIA for help.
  
  

• Application fee: NT$1000 for 1 year
  (no matter first-time application or extension)
